Our company, through our employees and partnerships, has a rare capacity to respond to our customers’ needs in order to provide a service level and commitment ahead of our competition. The development of our management and quality systems is but one example in our focus on excellence that is inherent in our pursuit of positive work and customer outcomes.​ Other company policies are detailed within the Horsell Human Resource Management System (HRMS).

Work, Health and Safety (WHS) Policy Statement

 

The purpose of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) is to implement and manage an effective Work Health and Safety (WHS) framework in order to achieve a high standard of safety performance and protect our most valuable resources - our staff. 

 

Our company is committed to providing a workplace that is safe and healthy, for all who come within our workplace environment. We recognise that WHS is a paramount importance and we strive to provide our staff and contractors with a safe work environment. It is a policy of our company that all personnel are responsible for contributing to this environment and are encouraged to identify, rectify, and report any existing or potential hazards.


In the event that one of our employees is injured within our workplace or whilst in their employment, we will actively facilitate their return to work at the earliest possible time with the necessary levels of care and rehabilitation.


Failure of any employee or contractor to comply with this policy may lead to legislative and/or disciplinary action as appropriate.

Quality Policy Statement

 

The company is fully committed to quality and is pursuing a program to achieve best practice in all aspects of our business. Our Quality objectives include:

​

  • Fully meeting the requirements of our client contract.

  • Controlling and implementing any changes to contract and alterations as they occur.

  • Supplying only those services, products and materials which have the quality to meet all of our customer and regulatory specifications.

  • Meeting Government and Company requirements of WHS&Q and Industrial Relations.

 

Proper adherence to this Policy Statement is required of all employees. All employees are encouraged to suggest process or procedure enhancements to improve quality. Quality is the responsibility of all employees.

Horsell has formulated this quality policy in consultation with key members of staff. All workers are trained in the implementation and understanding of this policy. This policy is readily available to all workers.

Environmental Policy Statement​

 

The company acknowledges a responsibility to the environment, and we express our commitment towards implementing practices which will promote environmental sustainability. The following policy governs the management of the environmental aspects of our company, with a specific focus on the conservation of resources and the reduction of waste.

​

This policy relates to how all operations in our company will be continually reviewed and improved so that we will truly be able to integrate environmental and social considerations into our everyday practices.

​

The company will consistently strive to raise awareness in the community, encourage participation and train employees in environmental matters.

​

  • Comply with any laws governing the environment, and actively look for ways to improve on these guidelines.

  • Work towards the conservation of energy, water and resources in all our operations.

  • Strive to better understand both the direct and indirect impact that our practices may have on the environment.

  • Promote environmental awareness throughout all operations of the company.

  • Provide training/newsletters/posters to staff on implementing our sustainable policies.

  • Dispose of waste thoughtfully, and develop an attitude of "reducing, recycling and reusing."

  • Lessen our environmental impact by purchasing environmentally-friendly products and services.

  • Work with our entire supply chain in order to gain mutual benefits of incorporating environmentally sustainable goals into everyday business.

  • Regularly review our business practices, and determine whether each practice is suitable in an environmental context.

  • Independently audit our practices, and determine whether our goals have been reached.
